Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the application of arbitration in resolving international commercial disputes involving Iran and other countries or foreign companies. The research method is descriptive-analytical, and the findings reveal that speed, expertise, and cost-effectiveness are among the advantages of arbitration over litigation in resolving disputes. Moreover, the inclusion of an arbitration clause in international commercial contracts between the Islamic Republic of Iran and other countries has political implications, such as increasing investment and encouraging international investors to invest in Iran. Additionally, it will enhance Iran's credibility among countries in the international system and foster greater trust in the country. Ultimately, the inclusion of an arbitration clause in Iran's international commercial contracts will help reduce tensions and disputes between Iran and other countries.
