Human beings become acquainted with the world of politics through social communication and interaction, and this occurs via socialization. Political socialization is the process through which an individual becomes familiar with the political culture of their society and, alongside formal education, learns the political norms, beliefs, skills, and values of society through informal channels. According to complexity theory, the education system is a complex, self-organizing meta-system composed of nested layers, in which each level contains subsystems with interacting elements and agents (human and non-human) operating through complex mechanisms. The sum of these interactions forms an extensive network that creates new conditions for the production of knowledge. The most important goal of education is to engage learners in their own world and in the creation of a new world. The student, as both learner and output of the education system, is a critical element of the curriculum — a complex, multidimensional, unpredictable being engaged in complex interactions with existence. An efficient student has an organic quality, and, in step with the changes of today's world, reshapes themselves and their capacities as a dynamic system. Such a student is not only shaped by their own culture and society, but also develops inner characteristics that lift them beyond the basic level of the culture and society in which they were raised — reaching a level of social complexity and human originality sufficient to become an agent of socio-political growth and stability in their own society. The overall aim of this research is to explain how students' political education can be carried out to achieve efficiency from the standpoint of complexity, with emphasis on Imam Khomeini's perspective. The research questions are: What are the characteristics of an efficient student from the standpoint of complexity, with emphasis on Imam Khomeini's view? What is the nature of students' political education and what factors affect it? How does political education affect an individual's thought and social behavior, and their interactions with society and the state? This is an applied, qualitative study using a descriptive-analytical method of data collection and analysis. The research population comprises all books and articles on the complexity paradigm published over roughly the past ten years, and the research sample consists of available documents — books, records, domestic and foreign articles, theses, and internet sources. To answer the research questions, data were gathered from existing documents through note-taking (fish-bardari), and the notes were coded, numbered, classified, and retrieved by appropriate methods before analysis. For data analysis, the researcher extracted information relevant to the content of the questions and structured it to answer them. The finding is that some factors influencing students' political education include the formal and informal education system — society and environment, media, family, classmates and peers. Applying approaches derived from complexity theory under unstable educational conditions, on the condition that these approaches are localized and joined with religious guidance, leads to greater efficiency and productivity of the education system.
