Role of the people, as the main constituent elements of the community, in the administration of society, has long been one of the main issues in political philosophy. This issue is particularly important from the perspective of Islam and theocracy. Accordingly, this paper examines status of the people in governance, from the perspective of political philosophy of Mulla Sadra.

In this context, we are faced with two different viewpoint.
