Sociology of literature is one of the newest interdisciplinary sciences, which is considered one of the youngest among the different fields of social sciences. Sociological criticism of literary works is a method that investigates society and people and different and similar behaviors and actions of society in certain periods of time. The mission of this academic field is to use the social-political concepts of literary works in such a way that it reflects and narrates the real situation of the society and also represents the analysis of the writer and the author of the work. In the present study, the writer's attempt is to reread the political concepts highlighted in Shams Langroudi's poems. Through familiarity with the political-social currents of the contemporary world, Langroudi has been able to use the political-social themes and components in order to enrich his literary creations. The poet's attitude towards art and literature is such that he considers himself committed to his environment and society. Therefore, his poetic goals are tied to social-political indicators and he has expressed the concepts desired by sociologists sometimes with explicit language and sometimes by presenting symbolic images.
