Extremism in the thought of neo-Salafi groups (ISIS)
Abstract
The present article is the answer to the question that what effect did the eschatological ideas have on the social political action of neo-Salafi movements? In this article, it is assumed that the eschatological thoughts that according to them had an objective form in the form of an ideal situation in the historical past (Madinah Sadr of Islam) led them to choose tools such as violence and takfir or negation of others to achieve this pure society. Is. Proving or disproving the current hypothesis requires a detailed examination of field facts. This article, with a descriptive-analytical method and using the research techniques of the discourse method, while investigating and introducing the currents of new Salafis, draws its political coordinates, and reviews the role and impact of eschatological ideas on the political action of neo-Salafi movements and on a case-by-case basis, ISIS.
