“Meritocracy” is one of the most effective strategies of creating political justice that results in rule of efficient people for exercising power. This paper seeks to explore the role of meritocracy in political justice and its aftermaths for designing the Iranian-Islamic model of progress. In the hypothesis of article, it has been underlined that one can believe right is administered when power is shifted to efficient people thanks to focal concept of “administration of justice” in political justice and confrontation of meritocracy with autocracy and with non-meritorious people. Therefore, there is element of meritocracy in political justice and by its presence, aftermaths like justice model of progress, suitable placement of affairs, right-centeredness and celerity of progress system, reformism and liberty can be observed in model of meritocracy.
