Abstract
Jihad is included in many verses of Quran. War and peace are central subjects of International Relations. But is it possible to make a connection between the theoretical view of the science of international relations and the Islamic view of war and peace? In this article, we want to use the rational explanation of the logic of Jihad based on Allameh Tabatabai’s theory of credits of, which is presented in another article by the same authors, to reflect on the relationship between two Islamic scientific traditions and the scientific tradition of international relations in the field of war and peace. We present these reflections on three topics: "Causes of War and Conflict", "Collective Security System" and "Comparison of Diplomacy-Strategy Dualism with Da'wah-Jihad Duality" to provide ideas to establish a connection between two practical traditions. The current research is presented under the Islamic meta-theory of international relations, hence the foundations of ontology, epistemology and methodology in the Islamic meta-theory of international relations are the assumptions of the topics presented in this article. The method of this research is proof-deductive. The type of basic research is case study and static analysis.
