In this regard, using a descriptive-analytical method - it discusses the effects of economic structure on formation of the political structure of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in terms of democracy or authoritarianism and it explores if the economic structure of the Islamic Republic of Iran has helped to enhance democracy in the Islamic Republic or it has prevented it.The results of the research which have used the political-economy approach, indicate that the economic structure of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its players, in order to survive and secure their interests, have influenced some indicators of the open access political structure such as power distribution, power rotation, independence of forces, Freedom of speech, freedom of participation, limited political activity and have made them ineffective, thus they have reinforced the political structure of restricted access and prevented the consolidation of democracy in the Islamic Republic. Therefore, the economic structure of the Islamic Republic is one of the barriers to consolidation and promotion of democracy in the Islamic Republic and its reform is necessary. هدف پژوهش حاضر تبیین و واکاوی تاثیرات ساختار اقتصادی جمهوری اسلامی ایران بر ساختار سیاسی آن است. در این راستا، با روش توصیفی – تحلیلی، تاثیرات ساختار اقتصادی بر شکل‌گیری نوع ساختار سیاسی جمهوری اسلامی ایران به لحاظ مردم‌سالار یا اقتدارگرا بودن مورد بحث قرار گرفته و به این مساله پرداخته شده است که آیا ساختار اقتصادی جمهوری اسلامی ایران به تقویت و ارتقاء مردم‌سالاری در جمهوری اسلامی کمک کرده یا مانع تقویت و تثبیت آن بوده است.<br /> نتایج پژوهش که از رویکرد اقتصاد سیاسی بهره برده است، حاکی از آن است که ساختار اقتصادی جمهوری اسلامی ایران و بازیگرانش در راستای بقاء و تامین منافع خود با تاثیرگذاری بر برخی از شاخص‌های ساختار سیاسی دسترسی باز همچون توزیع قدرت، چرخش قدرت، استقلال قوا، آزادی بیان، آزادی مشارکت، فعالیت سیاسی و محدود و کم اثر کردن آنها، به تقویت ساختار سیاسی دسترسی محدود پرداخته و مانع تقویت و تثبیت مردم‌سالاری در جمهوری اسلامی شده‌اند. بنابراین، ساختار اقتصادی جمهوری اسلامی یکی از موانع تثبیت و ارتقاء مردم‌سالاری در جمهوری اسلامی بوده و اصلاح آن لازم است. http://sm.psas.ir/article_37453_13fe89c480b613c311c35d43b9006ffb.pdf
