Journal Article 2018 01 27 Iran is the biggest country around the Persian Gulf and one of the biggest countries in the Middle East. Henceforth, it has a high capacity to play role as a regional power in the region and follows the goal of accepting that by the countries in the regional and trans-regional domain. However, the increasing regional power of Iran changes the balance of power in this geographic zone and is followed by reactions of others because the more power gaps increases, the more threat will be felt and the more resistance will weak countries show against accepting the role of Iran. The feeling of fear created in this situation will limit the regional maneuver space, intensifies dependence of weak countries on other transregional powers and set the ground for presence of the foreigners. This will lead to creation of an unfriendly atmosphere. The present study wants to suggest a proper strategy following which leads to neutralization of the present atmosphere of fear from Iran (so called Iran phobia) and removal of sensitivity about the presence and acting of Iran. Following the strategy of inspirational leadership, cooperation and collective agreement can neutralize or decrease the threatening space. ایران، پهناورترین کشور پیرامون خلیج فارس و از بزرگ ترین کشورهای منطقه ی خاورمیان ه است؛ لذ ا ظرفیت بالای ی ر ا برای نقش آفرین ی د ر منطق ه - به عنوان قدرت منطقه ای- دارد و این افق را دنبال می کند که این نقش از سوی کشورهای منطقه و فرامنطقه پذیرفته شود. با این وجود، قدرت منطقه ای رو به افزایش ایران، دگرگون کننده ی توازن قوا در این نقطه ی جغرافیایی ست و واکنش دیگران را به دنبال دارد؛ چراکه هر اندازه شکاف های قدرت بیش تر شود، احساس تهدید افزایش یافته و مقاومت بیش تری از سوی کشورهای ضعیف برای پذیرش نقش ایران صورت خواهد گرفت. احساس ترس ایجادشده در این شرایط، فضای مانور قدرت منطقه ا ی ر ا محدو د می کند و وابستگی کشورهای کوچک به سایر قدرت های فرامنطقه ای را تشدید نموده، و زمینه ی حضور خارجیان را فراهم می سازد؛ این روند به ایجاد یک فضای غیردوستانه منتهی می شود. تحقیق حاضر می خواهد استراتژی مناسبی را پیشنهاد کند که با درپیش گرفتن آن، بتوان فضای ایران هراسی موجود را خنثی کرده و حساسیت حضور و کنش گری خود در منطقه را از بین ببرد. اتخاذ رویکرد رهبری مبتنی بر الهام بخشی، همکاری و توافق دسته جمعی می تواند فضای تهدیدآمیز را خنثی یا کم اثر نماید.
